Emily Sedai says:
Meh, just ban music, movies, and games. That would be way better. I'm sure we can take some tax money to create an agency to oversee the implementation of the ban, and to keep contraband out of our schools and society though.

I don't think banning the media would solve the problem. These forms of media still constitute freedom of speech. It would just be better to make it undeseriable for stores to sell this type of media or tax citizens who purchase this type of media. Violent media is a want and not a need so if people don't want to pay the taxes, then they don't have to buy the media.

How do you know that person was being sarcastic?

Meth Panther says:
Then you have the government saying, we tax this manner of speech and don't tax another. That's not really freedom of speech.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012, 10:30:22 AM PST
FOGE says:
Hahaha. Some people are incapable of sensing sarcasm.

Again, how do you know that person was being sarcastic? I took it as the person making a point you took it as sarcasm. The written word can always be interpreted in many different ways.
