And this is why you never want to go Full On. You just can't turn it off. At least a strawman uses some type of logical approach to lead to an incorrect assumption.

instead of video games we should build an arena where we can get plastered and watch people fight to the death!

I agree. Anonymous is a bad idea in this (and pretty much every) situation.

Not at all. I was more making fun of the guy by showing that you could make the same argument by inserting any group into his rantings.

A California senator telling his constituents and everyone else with a voice to just STFU? Nothing strange to see there.

Does Leland Yee support abortion?

Because he talks about the glorification of violence, which is what his party has become fond of when it comes to aborting a fetus.

PS: I'm actually pro-abortion under certain circumstances, but I do not support the glorification of it that has become one of the political arguments for the Democrats. Abortion is not a great thing for anybody. It shouldn't become something that should be easy. It's a tough decision to forgo taking responsibility for what is often one's own action.

Maybe he was playing CoD on XBL, if that's the case, I heartily agree with him.

But I hate real violence. Like, real violence has actually affected my ability to partake in some forms of fictional violence. Tell me again how I'm addicted, Leland Yee.

Truth.

Go abort your fetus! It's quick! It's easy! It's fun!

Yeah, I see lots of that.

I spend my days getting knocked up and aborting my fetuses, of course. And you?

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 25, 2013, 1:30:05 PM PST
I definitely don't see those arguments. That said, I think a lot of the stereotypes about women who get abortions just because they're irresponsible people come from "Roe" herself.

Did you stab them with a screwdriver and take your rotating stack of money back?

I think that's what "keeping it safe" means.

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 25, 2013, 1:35:49 PM PST
I promise I would never stab you with a screwdriver. Or offer you money for sex for that matter.
