Is it just the oranges or is all the fruit square....what about bananas?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 13, 2012, 10:33:37 AM PST
Bananas are already square.

I was able to play 2 complete matches in 4 hrs. I was however able to have the game freeze and lockup my PS3 a total of 3 times, so.... I'm pretty upset at this steaming pile of garbage!

Besides the wide spread issues of the game completely shutting off PS3 fat systems, mine included, I was able to level up to 12 this evening. In the public matches, I had 0 issues with lag, loading, balancing, etc that other people are reporting. I did, however, have some serious lag issues in the league play. My first league play match took about 45 seconds for the round countdown to make it from 12 to 0. Once the round started, it was like playing in slow motion. It was weird because it was smooth and not choppy like normal lag, but just super slow-mo. I exited out after my entire team left me and I hopped into a new lobby. The next game was the same way. I then noticed that the player count went from 13,000 players in league play to about 1,100, so I'm assuming it was an issue with most, or all, of the league play matches.

The only thing that upsets me about that is that it now says I only have 3 more games until qualification.

I'm glad my money went to gold so I could get kicked from matches and suffer connecting problems. Not to mention lag. Those suckers and their free online playing losers don't know how bad they've got it. We all. Know you get what you pay for.

Have you actually seen them? I found some on Yemen and they were definitely round. As soon as I saw the fruit stand, I remembered that review. :D

I wonder if they were not using the texture install on the square ones?

Cats Go Nyan says:
I didn't install anything yet, I just put the game in and played. The only thing I did was download Nuketown 2025. Damn trolls..

Battlefield 3 is the only video game in history to have any problems whatsoever.

Cats Go Nyan says:
Haha, this was in the comments of that review.

"My family and I have been growing box (square) oranges for years. You can poke a straw right into them and drink from them, then set it on the table for consumption at a later time without having to worry about it rolling off the table. I'm not sure what the issue is. "

I hope it gets patched soon for PS3 folk. My buddy has been telling me about the system instability issues and lock ups.

When i noticed there were only 3 critic reviews( vs 41 on the 360), It was easier for me to jump ship back to the 360 version. Launch reviews have never been that platform lopsided before on such a big release.

The sixth COD game this generation, and people are still surprised by this?

Are servers still horrendous on the PS3?

I haven't heard any complaints from the people I work with who played all evening yesterday. Nor did I hear anything bad about it from any of the vent regulars who were playing it all yesterday.

I won't get my copy until tomorrow, but I'm not worried about it.

I played about 20 games last night and it worked perfectly. I was suprised at how fast the games loaded and that there was hardly any wait time between matches.

"You just described day one multiplayer for every game ever with multiplayer."

And yet Day one for Diablo 3 is looked at as the only game with day 1 issues.

Just throwing this out there if no one else has noticed, but connecting to Multiplayer on the 360 has been pretty rough as well. I expect that in a week or so, things should be running much smoother.

Sounds about right for... almost every major game release like this :3
