So I sold my extra ps3 and will be getting Dishonored and Halo 4. I was curious if there were any major differences between the ps3 and 360 in regards to Dishonored. Lens of Truth has the 360 version with slightly less tearing, but other than that they seem the same. But I wanted to check with the kind folks here to make sure I make an informed decision and I don't have a Skyrim repeat mistake.

Thanks.

360 version is always superior.

Get it for PS3 that way you don't have to get up and change discs, you just change controllers.

My rule of thumb for multiplatform games is this:

Japanese developed multiplat? PS3

Developed anywhere else? Xbox

McAwesomeo says:
Bethesda only published it. But the company that made it is owned by Bethesda.

Yeah I was thinking that as well.

Fox, Dishonored is more than 1 disk?

Pretty much what you read, there is slightly less screen tearing on 360 but ultimately just get it based on whatever controller you like.

EDIT: But if you have access to the PC version get that over console.

No. It's just one disc.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the assistance. 360 version it is. I prefer the controller and why not get less tearing.

360 is generally the safest bet on multiplats, especially if you like the controller.

McAwesomeo says:
To clarify, they're owned by Bethesda through ZeniMax. Same way Bethesda owns id Software.

Both versions are roughly identical, except for the audio.

Surround Support:--360 Dolby Digital--PS3 Dolby Digital, 5.1LPCM

Not sure there is much difference between 5.1 dolby digital and 5.1 LPCM dolby digital. If the ps3 version were 7.1 LCPM, you'd have a great point. I love how all first and second party ps3 games are 7.1, great addition.

I will be picking up Dishonored, Halo 4 and Skyrim on the 360 today. I decided to trade in Skyrim for the ps3 in favor of the 360 version while I am at it.

Yeah, that troll OP saying it sounded like the two versions were pretty much the same. How dare he go off on such a rant.

Are you touting this now?

I am suprised.

P. Iso says:
To be honest though. If you have a great PC, you can get the best all around.

The 360 controller and way above console graphics.

Wait until black friday to pick up dishonored. One store already has it listed for 29.99. Getting it now will be a waste. Sidenote the same store also has skyrim listed for the same price as well.

Good advice, thanks.
