MrFoxhound says:
How could you have no problems with Castlevania? That's a sickening level of skill right there. I think that Mega Man is easy compared to Castlevania and Contra.

Huh, I didn't have problems with Contra either. I could beat it without the code. It was Castlevania, Mega Man and Battletoads that vexed me.

Battletoads is on it's own tier of frustration.

i don't remember any problems with Castlevania and the Mega Man games were only occasionally frustrating. never really been a fan of Ninja Gaiden though.

That game ruined any chances of a friendly between me and my stepdad.

I gave up on some games. I was just happy I made it to level 5 on Space Harrier. I gave up on other titles. Castlevania pissed me off so bad.

Benpachi says:
I played it so much that I had the whole game memorized, when I was a kid I probably could have gotten through the first two levels with my eyes shut. Contra is hard as steel without the Konami code, I beat it but that was an exercise in frustration.

My sister and I had Contra down to a science. The game isn't impossible if doing co-op since the majority of deaths is because you can't cover more than one angle at a time unless you have the BEST weapon upgrade of all time(scattershot). 1 person have scattershot and the other have lazer and you can power rush through it without too much difficulty.

No, if that were the case the OP's title would be- Well, there went two minutes.

Congrats, I share your pain. I'm still haunted by the Boss in Bubble Bobble. -Some day....

At this moment, I'm quite happy that can't view the video. I had a minor body shudder when you replied with a youtube link. Better you than red, however.

I tell ya, all new modern games help beating games that were back in the days. Playing Raiden helped me got to last boss on NES 1942.

I say that you have mad skillz bro.

See kids, you have skill at video games if you can beat the NES Ninja Gaiden, not CoD.

Aw, it's just a punchline drum.

Too easy. Not going to touch this one.

I suck at the "veteran" mode of shooters, though. For some reason my platform action skills don't pass over to the FPS. I got stuck on the mission in COD:MW where you escort the wounded sniper to the ferris wheel in Pripyat and could never get passed it. After that I new Veteran was not for me.

Too easy?! How about Immortal and Werewolf on NES? I still couldn't beat those.
