That's not a bad idea, and I need trophies for speech challenges and hacking, maybe I'll start a Fallout 3 game this weekend in honor of the apocalypse.

Heck, we have a washer and dryer and I still go to the laundromat sometimes because it's much quicker due to being able to wash and dry several loads at the same time. Silver lining, friend.

Which hallway is Chapter 6? Is that the machine hallway, or the ice hallway or the rocky hallway or the starry hallway?

"Capt K is going to help me get past an annoying part in Dark Souls (if we can sync up a time)"

You've pretty much described every part

Halo is not a military shooter. Halo is a sci-fi space shooter.

I will finish Crysis 2 once and for all this weekend. And then move on to Vanquish (I finally have this game, yay!).

Oh, he's actually at one of the more annoying parts in Anor Londo where the archers snipe.

Athas says:
ha, yeah i do wish they widened the corridor/hallway a bit more. But otherwise, not too bad a game, definitely feels like blu-ray quality.

Kendahl says:
If I can tear myself away from the multiplayer, I'll start the single player campaign in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I'm getting Darksiders II for Christmas (I know because I bought it and gave it to my wife to give to me) so I'll hit that up too. I have some Redbox codes that expire Dec 31 so I might get AC3 or Far Cry 3 this weekend too.

Let's see. A little of this and a little of that.

Actually I'm going through Dishonored right now. I've started teh OG Splinter Cell for about the 14th time. Maybe this time I will get through it athough this will be my second playthrough. I finished this gaem back when it came out but since I purchased it on a steam sale I want to go through the series again.

NSMBU will get some more play as will some Nintendoland with the kids. Oh and Skyrim that I've been putting off for a year now.

MrFoxhound says:
Nah. The game is really fair and balanced for 98% of it, meaning that if you die it's your fault and you need to adapt to overcome. For the other 2% though the game is cheap. I'm talking about two specific parts: Capra and the Dragon Knight Archers on the way to the 2nd Anor Londo bonfire.

I never had a problem getting through those archers before, Capt suspects that patch made them angrier than normal and that's why I'm dying.

Starting (and hopefully completing) some of the Wii U games I have & some Halo 4. Will also be catching up on some missed Wii games (Xenoblade, last Story, etc) I'm off work from the 25th Dec to 10th Jan.

Other than gaming, lots of drinking, lots of eating and so on.

FOGE says:
They call them Space marines. Its both a sci-fi space shooter and a military shooter. And Halo 2, 3 and ODST are largely based on Earth.

Mostly Skyrim, but I do need to get back and at least finish the story in Lego Lord Of The Rings.

MrFoxhound says:
It's not a military shooter. Spec Ops, Rainbow Six and Call of Duty are military shooters. Once you throw aliens into the mix, they stop being military and are just sci-fi. Same as Gears of War, that's not a military shooter.

Actually, given the day I think I need something apocalyptic. I Am Alive is on sale on Steam right now. Hm.
