Ok, I just downloaded the beta this morning and played a 1v1 PvZ match. The game looks beautiful. Ran smoothly on ultra settings. It wasn't a long match, my opponent was a diamond rank and I am not that good. I chose toss as I typically play them.

At match start, your workers auto gather. No more needless initial gather assigning. This was a huge plus for me as it always seemed unnecessary to make us do that. That's the main thing that stuck with me about the first match. As I said it was a short match. The guy let me live a little while being that he was better than I. Protoss has a new air-based siege unit that reminds me of guardians.

Overall I am very excited to play more of this game, and my weekend will probably be me getting my butt kicked in 1v1 matches. If anyone else will be playing this beta, let me know.
