So with this Megadeth news, any other super insane musicians out there?

Beau says:
Dude, do you really, honestly think that Mustaine believes everything he says?

He might believe some of it, but the most outrageous parts are probably just for the publicity.

Jim Morrison was pretty nuts.

So is Geoff Tate (Queensryche). Here's a story about him being a doucher to the entire band:

"the most outrageous parts are probably just for the publicity."

...Probably/maybe/exactly?

Meth Panther says:
Syd Barrett is the first that comes to mind.

Also, I think Sly Stone is homeless, crazy, and living in a trailer.

McAwesomeo says:
Seriously? No one's said Nugent yet? That should be first on the list.

Varg Vikernes from Mayhem, nut case. The Norwegian Black Metal scene is known for it's violence and satanism.

Billy corgan (did I spell that right?) from Smashing Pumpkins isn't coloring with a full box of crayons. He and his wife have some weird aversion to the the sun and have to stay inside during the daytime. They claim it is a disease but I'm not too sure about that.

Michael Jackson- Musically, the man was a genius. His entire life outside of music, however, screamed as to how much of an emotional trainwreck the guy was.

William Bruce (Axl Rose)- This guy is such an unstable egomaniac that he somehow managed to get himself exiled by people like Duff McKagan and Saul Hudson (Slash) who, ironically, were also egomaniacs that had substance abuse problems. It takes a truly crazy dude to alienate other screwed up addicts.

Marvin Gaye- Sex addicted, drug addicted, physically and emotionally abusive. Very totalitarian.

Ice King says:
I don't know about insane, but there are a lot who are douches. There's something about musical talent that makes some people think they're gods. It doesn't help that there are thousands of star f-ers who feed their egos.
