Amanda says:
A friend of mine just got a 360 and I'm looking for good "must have" games and/or accessories for him.

What he has so far is the slim 360 with 2 controllers, a decent looking headset (not sure which kind or how well it works, but it isn't the basic crappy one), Halo 4, Forza Horizon, Assassin's Creed 3, and Borderlands 2. He's mostly interested in games with co-op, but other recommendations are welcome as well.

get the connect. games are still being developed but It has a lot of hands free options that make it fun. And the games that it comes with are fun. Silly, kinda of stupid silly but fun.

I 'd get him an Xbox LIVE 12 Month Gold Membership Card and a couple of Xbox LIVE 1600 Microsoft Points Cards. The Kinect can be fun in small doses, especially for kids, but it's not really a "must-have" for most, IMHO.

If your friend is into crime/ open world games, you should definitely get him Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City. You get three games for only $30, and with plenty other minigames to play like bowling.

One more game suggestion: The Orange Box. It's basically five games in one, and worth every penny! :)

G-Money says:
He already seems to have a good set of starting games, though he should probably start off with the Borderlands 1 Game of the Year Edition before playing borderlands 2. The Orange Box is a great suggestion. What types of games does he like? Is this his first gaming system, what are some of his past favorites? This can help with the suggestions.
