Four dark and thrilling stories for an incredible price. If you enjoy stories that keep you on the edge of your seat this is for you. Dark Lullaby is a short well written serial killer story. What starts out as sounding like a parents' nightmare turns into something quite different and unexpected. I had no idea where this was going and the identity of the killer kept me guessing right to the end. Excellent!

What a treat! MoonRush was one of my favorite Carolyn McCray books, so what could be better than a sneak peek into one of the most intriguing characters, the exotic Mia! You'll like "Rush" so much, I guarantee you will dash out to pick up MoonRush. Dark Lullaby drags you shrieking into the wild and wacky world of Kent Harbinger,(move over Adrian Monk).Serial killers beware! This is a don't miss collection for anyone who loves mystery, action and adventure. And who doesn't mind having being scared while you are being enthralled. Get started on one of these short stories and you'll gobble them all up. A great collection.

You can't beat this deal. Several of McCray's best in one box. Here's my review for Dark Lullaby: A Harbinger Short Story (Kindle Edition) from its own page.

McCray's "Dark Lullaby" is a short story about a profiler named Kent that is hired to solve a mystery. After a game of Angry Birds and a romp through a sex club, he finds the real culprit. McCray peppers her writing with hip pop culture references and all of her characters have that confident swagger. A quick and entertaining read.

This box set is more like an introduction to some wonderful series written by Ms. McCray and Ben Hopkins. The first in this series is:

Ambush- Prequel short strory to the Betrayed Series (30 Pieces of Silver)

Ambush is the prequel to the Btrayed series. It introduces us to Sergeant Brandt and his military team. This team works so well together. Without each member this team would not be the well oiled machine that it is. This book just helps you understand what the team does and how well they work. You don't necessarly need to read it to be able to follow the next book, 30 Pieces of Silver. (I didn't read this till afterwards) Either way, it is a great read and helps mesh the books together, well!

Anatomy- The prequel short story to the Harbinger Murder Mystery Collection (Plain Jane)

I wouldn't skip over the book Anatomy by any means. It gives you insight into the main characters in the following book, Plain Jane. Anatomy was actaully pretty good. It was faced paced. Very insightful in how the characters meet and start to mesh. I was actually hoping that there was more to it. Then I started the next book in the series and my thoughts and dreams were answered.

Hacked- the prequel short story to the Robin Hook Hacker Collection (Encrypted)

This is the prequel to the beginning of the Robin Hood Hacker series. In this short introduction story, we learn of Ronnie, Quirk, Warp and Zach. We learn some back story to Zach and his relationship with his mom and fiance. We also learn how he is hell bent on catching the Robin Hood Hacker. Excellent short story to warm you up to the big book that follows...Encrypted.

Gauntlet- the prequel to All Hallow's Eve: The one night it is Bad to be good...

This boxed collection of thrillers was so much better than I'd thought they'd be. I first read the Down and Dirty Collection by Carolyn McCray, which was okay. Three of those books were also part of this collection, which is why I gave this set only 4 stars. Four other books were included in Got Thrills and they were really good. This is much more my style as these were well-thought out without the excessive gore. Well done!

I really liked this box set. You get a good mix of this authors work and I LOVED it. I went through all the books in a day. I kept telling myself that I was going to read just ONE more and go to bed and of course that never happened. This is quickly becoming my new favorite author.

What a wonderful find. It was like walking through your neighborhood and chancing upon a unique boutique, cafe, bookstore - what a find. I had never heard of this author and was pleasantly surprised that I like her. Definitely will look for more of her work. I truly enjoyed each book and have suggested her to friends. Thanks!!!

I just finished reading " The Rush"and "Moon Rush". I am still looking at the pieces of the Eureka scattered across the ground, but I am also watching the Roughs closely as I'm hoping that there will be more to come from this motley crew. I just can't believe that Jarod, Rob, Mia and Simon can just walk away from that diamond. Of course Buton and Cleo will try to be the voice of reason but........
