for sure first gen nvidia glasses. given rarity and price gouging id suggest you try out a cheaper 3d compatible 3rd party brand kit. I'd try out the SainSonic kit for $50 - only one left though a second set without an emitter is $26 . Do a search on nVidia GeForce 3D Vision Kit you'll see whats available.

I bought an Nvidia GeForce GTX460 combo, that came with a Nvidia 3D active (infrared) glasses. It works very well. My card and 3D glasses are two years old, so there may be other cards/glasses that are currently being sold.

Nvidia Glasses kit are one option. You need a set of glasses and a receiver that either hook up to your computer or the monitor to sync

Nvidia has a site you might want to check out. link http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-glasses.html
I have a GeForce GT620 card which supports 3D. If you're upgrading the video card, i recommend looking at a combo kit including 3D glasses. The other thing is decide if you want wireless or wired glasses. Most 3D glasses use the active shutter and should match the 120Hz of the Acer monitor. Hope this helps.
