For me, the difference is worth it. Since my children are all grown and on there own, I don't cook in large quantities anymore. So the small pots
are just the thing for everyday cooking. I'll cook potatoes for mashing in the 2 qt. and a vegetable in the 1.5 qt. I also have a 3 qt. with steamer, a 4 qt. for cooking soups and spaghetti, and a 6 qt for getting veggies ready for canning. I kept a 1 qt. pot from my old set of Revere Ware and use it for sauces. see less

I have the 3-1/2 quart and it is 8 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall.

8" internal diameter (+ about 1/8" pan thickness each side) and 4 1/4" pan height (without lid). Had this pan plus a 12" dia frypan for a few years now - still love them both - perfect for just about all my day to day cooking needs though a really big stockpot would also be great for occasional use.
