Looks like about 3/8" spacing. Love this cooling rack for baking bacon, chicken tenders, and dehyrating foods in a low oven. I may get a second one.

The answer to your question depends on whether your measurements for the cookie sheet are inside dimensions or outside dimensions. Obviously if they are OUTSIDE dimensions, another object with the same OUTSIDE dimensions will not fit INSIDE the pan. I use my rack in a baker's half sheet pan and it fits perfectly.
