If you like intense flavor, this product would be your favorite! It makes my Mapo tofu tastes like a million dollar! I love that pungent flavor they add to the dish.

Yes, unfortunately this has quite a few of the black seeds in it. Maybe 10% of the contents will have the black seeds, which is a marker for a very poor quality product. I'm quite disappointed with the number of seeds.

Just see the stated expiration date. For peppercorns, they usually last a few years if you keep them in airtight jar.
