There is no provision to add a filter to this 2 layer mask. I finds it a very comfortable mask to wear and to breathe through but does no offer the protection of a mask that is 3+ layers.

Their is a recall for any mask containing graphene and 3M being a company with the respect they have for safety would surely recall them. The only company we could find using graphene in mask is Shandong Shengquan New Materials Co. Ltd.. There is no indication that it is niosh rated. I would not recommend this mask. Especially for an adult. It is too small. I wanted to wear two masks, and it was too small.
As a result, I sewed two together and that worked.
