I always tell everyone that laughing is healing. Kimberling Galeti Kennedy starts this book by telling us Why You Should Laugh Three Times A Day! She is so right about laughing taking the grumpies away.
My favorite part of the book is What if. It reminds me so much of my Grandson who is going to enjoy this book very much. He is always looking for the positive and this book has a positive message included in every story in the book.
By the end of this book, you and your children will have a big smile on your face, and it might even get a giggle or two.
My thanks to Word Slinger and Kimberling Galeti Kennedy for providing me with this book at no cost.
Why You Should Laugh Three Times a Day By Kimbering Kennedy is a wonderful book for any kids rhyming collection. As a teacher this would be one I would definitely read during any unit on rhyming. But this book has more to offer than that. It teaches kids to make better choices like eat vegetables rather than eating junk. It also teaches kids about feelings, and how they should laugh three times a day. But the best thing that I love about this book is that it comes with a free audio download. This feature separates this book from others. Now this book has become a work station that any teacher can use in a classroom, or a parent can play the book while traveling with the family. This free feature really brought this book up to the next level of entertainment. I read this story to my kids, and they loved the different poems. It really kept their interest which is hard to do.
Kimberling Kennedy has done it again. This very fun and cheerful book contains a bunch of short stories about different thoughts and situations that happen in a child's life and how better to handle them. She has given the child a different thought process to think through these different life situations and maybe do things differently in the future. All together a nice, fun book to share with your little ones.
The book "Why you Should Laugh Three Times a Day" is full of smiles. "You choose to feel grumpy or are you going to laugh with me. " I liked the different poems in this book because they are all cheerful and even silly. I read this book to my little sister and she really liked it and said its "fun"! This is a little book I see myself reading over and over again.
This book made me laugh, cry, and giggle. The stories really hit home and made me realize how much of an impact a positive attitude can have on your life. This book provides an excellent message for children and allows them to develop an optimistic view on life at an early age. I would recommend this book to anyone with children, but even if you don't have children, it's still a great book, with an inspiring message!
