The first thing you'll notice is that it is considerably different than most designs. But like most Klein tools, it works quite well. I've used a few different nibblers and I like this one the best hands down. The little spring guide sticking out the end at first glance seems like it would be cumbersome, but in practice, it works nice. The only downside might be if you have something very shallow with no room behind it, because this little rod and spring will be on the back side of your cut. But I think this is the secret to this tool's advantage. It is one of the only ones I have found where it is easy to make quick repeated nibbles.
It cuts very cleanly and clears the cut nibbles effortlessly. It looks a bit weird, but it is well designed in that it provides better leverage on the cut than most other designs. It doesn't stick or drag and returns fully every time. It is made from high quality fairly heavy tool steel. It won't be flexing or twisting when you load it. I had my doubts looking at the picture but the good reviews and Kleins' reputation sold me. When you look at it up close you can tell it is a well made precision type tool. I am very happy with this and it will be one of those tools that I simply will not lend to someone, it is that nice.
