I LOVED this sooo MUCH I bought another one! It says it holds socks... Well, honestly this little hanger organizer would be great for sooo MANY things! It's VERY sturdy! I have allll that lip gloss and make up in there and it hangs on the back of my bathroom door! I was nervous at FIRST about the hanger part... but it's holding just fine! It's exactly as I thought it would be! At FIRST I thought the pockets seemed kind of small... but they are a good size.... they seem a LITTLE tight... but I love the way they fit all my lip gloss and stuff soo perfectly! Amazon has a LOT of different kinds of hanging organizers... this one is my favorite!!

I have such a small room and with small space you need to hang things and make everything vertical to optimize all the space you can get. I ordered one of these organizers, and was thrilled with it. I was running out of drawer space and throwing the socks in baskets just wasn't working for me. I use the pockets to store anklets, knee highs, and calf-length trouser socks.

The organizer fit my needs perfectly--so much so that I immediately decided to order a second. Much to my surprise, the second one was not identical to the first.

The first one has a fabric-type backing with 16 (yes, 16, not 12) plastic pockets. The second has 12 pockets (as indicated in the product description), the backing is a flimsier material, and the plastic on the pockets seems thinner. Overall, it seems cheaper and flimsier; however, it still serves the purpose--and it's actually the one that matches the product description, but I prefer the first one--I guess I just lucked out!

These are hard to find, in this particular size, in the stores. So glad to have gotten it on Amazon - it was as advertised and the quality appears to be good - time will tell, I use it on the back of a pantry door for storage of pens, batteries,keys, envelopes, etc...

Update - this hanging vinyl bag quickly came unsewn, the three bottom pockets - nothing can be stored in them. I have reduced a five-star rating to a 2 star. I haven't had the hanger up but a few months. The one I replaced was used for 20+ years before it needed to be replaced, and it was in better condition when it was replaced. Won't order this again

Once I put socks in almost every part of this organizer and went to hang it up, the hanger part of the organizer came out completely. This occurred on the very first day that I opened and placed items in the package. I tried everything to try to figure out how to "fix it" b/c I couldn't believe it could mess up in this fundamental way before I even hung it up. It was no go. I think it was broken when they mailed it to me. Ridiculous! I needed it so much that I put some safety pins in it in order to utilize it. But DON'T MAKE THE ERROR I DID by buying this piece of crap. Moving forward, I'll be skeptical of all products by this company, Household Essentials. Umph.

The item does its job, but I've found that thicker stockings do not fit in the small compartments...they are rather shallow and look like they're only meant to hold pantyhose-like stockings. The back of the item has larger pockets, though. Overall, good design...compact and fits nicely in closet, but would probably not buy again or recommend.
