This will be fine :D as long as you don't have super thick eyeglass frame and/or super big ears that exceed the paddings :(2) Adjustable headbandYou can extend the headband for another inch or so if you need to adjust the headband. I don't use the extension since the headset fits on my head quite comfortably. If I do want a bit more space, I can easily adjust it.Now! Even though I say it is comfortable, it is still not that great for long time wearing. I get sweaty after half hour or so in the summer (but *cough* I don't run AC. I only have fans). PROS

+ Comfortable Headset (Even for people who wear eyeglasses!)
Two features that make the headset very comfortable for me.

+ Flexible microphone
Allows you to adjust the distance of your mic to your mouth depending on your need/mood. You can adjust the distance if you don't like post editing the audio.

The mic sits on a cable that can go in pretty much all angles. Then the cable sits on a base that allows you to rotate the mic upward if you don't need to use the mic.

I am not an expert when it comes to hearing. But after getting used to stereo sound for a while, my ear does seem to become slightly better at detecting sound quality. I like the quality of the audio recording produced by this headset for this budget.

+ Windscreen / Mesh Piece
Even though Amazon does not show the windscreen ( I think it is called windscreen right? Hehe not sure~), mine came with the windscreen covering the mic.

+ Long Cable
This headset has 7 feet long cable so you have a lot of space to move around (or to trip on ^O^)! It is long enough for me to do jump rope with it when it breaks. I mean, assume that is not the reason why it broke in the first place.

- I have tested this headset on two computers, let's call them computer A and B. With the same setting audio setting (not environmental since they are in different locations! >.<), computer A produces better sound quality than computer B. This might just be a normal situation though.

My expectations were low at this price point, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the headset! Once I adjusted the mic levels in Windows 7, the mic sounds great with good tone and little to no background noise picked up. The speakers produce plenty of bass with smooth, silky highs (not harsh like some headphone speakers). The headset cord is fairly long so it can be plugged in the back of a computer with concern for the cord reaching.

I have discovered two downsides, but neither of which effected my rating of this product. The first is comfort. They feel comfortable enough at first, but after a couple of hours the pressure of them on the ears becomes noticeably uncomfortable. This did not effect my rating because I've worn many headphones/headsets before these and have yet to find headphones that do not become uncomfortable after a couple of hours.

The second downside is a software/driver issue NOT related to the headset itself. When I first plugged the headset into my Dell laptop with Sigmatel audio, the headphones worked via plug and play, but the mic was not picking up sound. The mic did register in Windows 7, but as a line-in "high definition audio device" rather than a mic.

I looked around online and found many people reporting similar problems with mics/headsets with Windows Vista or 7, especially when on a laptop or other computer with a built in microphone. Windows wants to default the internal mic and didn't want to give me controls to shut the internal off and use the headset mic instead.

The common advise is to make sure the latest audio drivers are installed (in my case Sigmatel audio). I had previously installed all of the drivers from Dell, but did it again hoping it would solve the problem. It still would not work. I found out that the driver must be installed using compatibility mode (instructions below), because Dell does not have a Windows 7 audio driver for my laptop model(Vostro 1500). Once done, it works perfectly. Windows 7 now recognizes the internal "microphone array" and the line-in mic while giving me options for full control over them.

To run an audio driver in compatibility mode, follow these steps (assumes a basic knowledge of finding files and installing):

1. You need to know which Windows version the driver was designed for. If your audio driver was designed for Win7, then you don't need to proceed through these steps - just install as normal.
2. Right click the audio driver file once you have downloaded the latest version and choose "properties."
3. Click the "compatibility" tab.
4. Check the box "run this program in compatibility mode for,"
5. Select the appropriate operating system from the options available.
6. Once set, click "apply." This driver installation file will now run in compatibility mode when you activate it for install.

A buddy wrote a review recommending this for use with VOIP apps, so I thought I would try it with Mumble and TeamSpeak, which I use with MMO games.

Pros:
- The windscreen on the microphone is great for filtering out background noise yet still lets me be heard clearly without talking much above a whisper, which is great for midnight MMO raids.
- Build quality is better than expected for the price: there are little screws where other headsets just have plastic welds
- Generously long cord
- Sound through the headset is good for games and has reasonably low distortion, though isn't super in its dynamic range.
- The mute switch is a slide switch, not a button, so it's obvious whether it's on or off and resists accidental (dis)engagement.

Cons:
- The ear cups crush my ears a bit after a couple of hours (though not as bad as other headsets I have tried in this price range).
- The volume and microphone mute switch are located on the adapter included with the Plus model, not the main cord of the headset itself.

I've had this for less than a month, but so far I'm really pleased with it. I just probably won't use it for listening to music for hours at a time.

edit: roughly a year after I bought it, the microphone stopped working because the cord has virtually snapped in one spot, where it is stiff. The microphone signal must be carried in the outer sheath. Thing is, I didn't subject this to heavy wear, so I'm not sure why it did this. Also a bit weird that the upper part of the cord is now stiff while the lower part is flexible. As a result, I've reduced the rating from 4 to 3 stars.

I needed this for my laptop for meetings through work. Unfortunately, the headset doesn't work if you don't have two headphone spots in your computer. Mine only has one, and it simply doesn't work. I found a different headset that also requires two plugs, but I am able to put one plug in and have it control one ear for hearing and the microphone at the same time, which is better than either one or the other.

Didn't work well for me. Didn't like it.
