NJ no longer allows plastic bags in large shopping stores so bringing our own bags is necessary. These bags are perfect! Unlike those flat bags you purchase in the store that take up room in the car and get all over the place, these come in a storage bag which makes them convenient, neat and compact. There is a zipper on the storage bag which you can open to get a bag out and the top of the storage bag has an opening to shove the bags back into when you're done with them. Super easy. There is also a clip on the storage bag so I can easily clip them onto the shopping cart or my purse so I don't forget to bring them in the store with me. Before getting these bags, I can't tell you how many times I went into the store forgetting bags and had to go back out to get them! The bags are well made, strong, come in great colors that pop, have plenty of room, can be wiped out (I've never tried washing them, but I'm sure you can) and can be used endlessly. There is nothing I dislike about these bags. I've had them for a couple of months now and they are as good as the day I bought them. I purchased a 5 pack first which are great for a light shopping week, and then I purchased the 10 pack for those bigger shopping weeks. . I like them so much I purchased a 5 pack for my husband. The bags are that good and that convenient! Just grab the roll and go, Love them!

A really good solution to reusable bags if you follow a few steps.
New York is banning plastic bags on March 1, 2020. I had to get off my butt and get some reusable bags. I should have done it decades ago but I would always forget to bring the bags with me. With this setup you can idiot-proof it if you follow my simple steps below. If it works for me it would work for anyone! 1. At the checkout (assuming they are bagging) pull one bag halfway out and slide the pod to them, they can take out only what they need and not have a huge pile of bags. 2. When done with bagging, put the pod in one of the bags. This makes sure the pod makes it back in the house with you. 3. When you are unpacking at home, if you have any wet bags (e.g. frozen foods), you can hang the bag over the carabiner instead of stuffing it back in right away. 4. Hang it on the door knob so you remember to take it out to the car the next time you leave the house. By that time any wet bags will be dry and ready to stuff back in. 5. Hang it on one of the of the driver side headrest poles, hanging behind the seat. Out of the way, easy to see, and easy to get to. The only weak link in this plan is making sure you take the bags with you from the car, but if you forget you can always run back out and get them. The design seems really well thought out, the only slight improvement I can think of is this: They have a strip of mesh along one side to let any dampness out. I think this is great, but it would be better if most of the bag was made of this mesh, to help prevent musty bags. However if you follow my advice (step 3 above) you should never have an issue. I bought a set for each car, as well as a set that we use as lunch bags. Love the nice bright colors, easy to tell each set apart and hard to lose a bag.
