Kate Jerome is an accomplished publishing executive and an award-winning children's book author who has been positively influencing younger generations for decades. Her unique perspectives and original voice have inspired Kate to create and direct hundreds of children's educational and trade books in many different series.
In 2015 Kate accepted an invitation to join the inaugural class of Stanford University's Distinguished Career Institute. Both a year of study as a DCI Fellow and her affiliation with Stanford's Center on Longevity re-energized her long-time interest in intergenerational connections which continues to inform most of her work. Kate is deeply dedicated to sparking conversations between generations. In particular, she knows that "vertical connections" between kids and their favorite adults are critically important  in developing the non-cognitive  skills that shape attitudes, behaviors, and strategies required to succeed in this increasingly complex world.
