5.0 out of 5 stars Loved the different voices and advice, April 14, 2008
Once I took a minute to adjust to the different voices and seemingly different tactics that varied from page to page of this advice book. I fell in love with it!

There is guidance for every type of Freshman entering college and this book treats each reader as an individual. One size does not fit all and this book has more than enough to fit any need.

A great overview of the complexities and variations that freshmen will face when they go away to college for the first time.

A great book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone should read this, April 14, 2008
I thought it would be a nice, light graduation gift, but this book really tells it like it is. I highly recommend this for anyone who is about to face the Real World for the first time. Also good for those who need a refresher!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect first book for someone about to retire, April 14, 2008
I love giving this book to my "soon-to-be-retired" friends. It is a fun, informative, balanced look at the issues people face when they retire. I get tons of thanks everytime I give it to a friend.

What I love about the book is that it does not take the topic so seriously that it scares the reader, and yet, is not too casual about serious issues that the reader will be facing.

A great balance!

4.0 out of 5 stars It was a huge help, November 28, 2007
I was looking to understand why it was so hard to get my point across to my partner and picked up this book. I was pleased and surprised to find that this book went so much further than the typical relationship communication book. It was a HUGE help.
