3.0 out of 5 stars Like some other reviewers here, March 28, 2016
Like some other reviewers here, my system consistently registers 5 lbs psi less than actual tire pressure (measured using several accurate pressure gauges). This discrepancy can be overcome by lowering psi settings on the monitor accordingly, but it defeats the purpose of visually monitoring actual pressure. It's unfortunate that the unit can't be calibrated by the user. Still, the most useful feature of a TPMS is alerting the driver to a pressure drop, which this unit accomplishes. Just don't expect to monitor your actual tire pressure while behind the wheel.

Absolute junk from Asia... the 3/8" portion twisted off the first time I used it at only 50 lbs torque.

1.0 out of 5 stars Multiple line cracks, May 17, 2015
This review is from: RIO Gold Fly Line (Misc.)
This is a beautiful floating line, great weight balance, wonderful line feel in your fingers, stacks nicely, perfectly balanced to better rods for tight loops and delivering small flies with casting precision, which may explain all the positive reviews here. However, mine didn't last a single season with only moderate use before it started multiple cracking to the point of sinking. If you search online other than here, you'll see many complaints about cracking due to their finishing process with this line. RIO may have great customer service and readily replace the line, but no thanks, life is too short and casting too dear for yet another faulty RIO gold line.

1.0 out of 5 stars tool failure, March 28, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This tool is a neat concept but it's poorly constructed. After a few uses, the stainless handle broke close to the pivot point, making the tool worthless. Tippet also occasionally snags in the release end of the tool, cutting the tippet and thus your fly and fish. It also requires a strong grip to push the handle past the three locks in order to open the spring-loaded pinchers.

5.0 out of 5 stars and the tool can be run at low speeds to achieve a great finish on most gently curved surfaces, November 18, 2014
This review is from: Arbortech Contour Random Sander
This pricey but high quality tool was designed to be used on a power grinder with a 5/8 inch arbor, but I am using it primarily on a 1/4 inch flex shaft (Foredom, MasterCarver, etc.) Simply purchase a 5/8-11 inch (male threaded) to 6 mm post adapter (sold on amazon as a backing plate adapter) and you have a powerful new contour grinder for your flex shaft power tool. The sandpaper that comes with this tool is well made and long lasting, and the tool can be run at low speeds to achieve a great finish on most gently curved surfaces.

1.0 out of 5 stars Single blade does not fit..., September 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Manufacturer claims this fits "most" grinders--well, it does NOT fit a 4.5 inch Dewalt 28110, one of the most common grinders available, and that's just a single blade, not two. To make it fit requires a $10 add-on universal nut, so add that into your cost. The manufacturer fails to inform buyers what grinders it does or does not fit.

Update: The universal nut does not adapt this tool to a Dewalt 28110 either, although it is advertised as such--the grinder spindle is too short for this tool. Both are being returned. Buyer beware!

4.0 out of 5 stars Low profile, well built, lasts, February 25, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
There are many such supports out there, but this is one of the best built and doesn't easily slip down the arm. It has a low profile, allowing a shirt sleeve to slide over the support, unlike many other more bulky supports. The placement of the bulb provides just the right amount of pressure against the tendon as the strap entirely covers the bulb and creates downward pressure and is easily adjusted. I've blown through many others and this one is the longest lasting, mostly due to its well-sewn construction and low profile. If you have tennis elbow, you'll want to keep wearing this during strenuous activity even after your elbow heals, just to prevent a recurrence. The only reason I gave it a 4star is that obnoxious NewBalance plastic emblem, but it's easily removed.
