5.0 out of 5 stars Thumbs up for a great larger thermos!, June 26, 2016

Great thermos for a very good price. I have the pricier 16 oz. thermos., and this one is not as 'sturdy', but if you want a larger amount of coffee for your morning drive, as I did, it will not disappoint.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent frame, but beware the backing...., June 26, 2016

A frame is a frame, and this one is just fine, but beware the backing. It is not as high quality as one would hope, and did not support hanging as it should have. Needed reinforcement, which should not be the case.

5.0 out of 5 stars At last the 3rd and final seasons....looks terrific!, June 26, 2016
I've enjoyed owning this sprawling, epic mini-series event I remember vividly from my childhood. I bought the first two seasons without hesitation, and hoped for the third and final. It's finally here, and unlike the first two seasons, these have clearly been remastered and look so much cleaner and crisper with bolder, rich colors and sharpness. A surprising improvement to what already was a no-brainer of a purchase for me.

Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars First-class Blu-ray presentation of a John Wayne favorite that more people need to know about!, June 25, 2016
This review is from: McQ (BD) [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
Great Blu-ray presentation of a John Wayne classic with "The Duke" in a bit of an off-beat role, and rising to the occasion. This film has always been a favorite of mine, and I've never seen it look as great as it does on this new Blu-ray release. I've seen the film in "HD" before on television and streaming, where the film looked better than DVD, but film damage (and digital noise reduction) were highly evident in many places. As I read in several reviews, Warner gave the film a brand-new master for this Blu-ray release, and it excellence shows through as the image quality sparkles and handles the dark indoor scenes as well as the outdoor Seattle location photography with perfection. Great action, and able direction from John Sturges make "McQ" on Blu a must.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spectacular Blu-ray presentation! Debbie Reynolds has never been more delightfully 'unsinkable'!, June 25, 2016
Debbie Reynolds gave the performance of her career (and got an Oscar nomination for it) in this grand adaptation of Meredith Willson's Broadway hit. The film was one of the biggest box-office successes of the year it was released (1964) as everyone fell in love with "Molly Brown". Broadway leading man Harve Presnell made his screen debut re-creating his stage success as Molly's beloved Johnny Brown, and it is a shame that he never had the screen career he deserved. (He was later re-discovered by the Coen Brothers for Fargo decades later....). Subsequent to its big-screen success, "Molly" has never been far from view on television and previous home video releases, but it is likely that the film didn't ever look this great (even the day it opened) as it does on this Blu-ray disc. It is simply perfect. Gorgeous colors, sharp as a tack, not a spec of dirt or dust to be found anywhere, a beautiful film-like presentation that takes full advantage of Daniel Fapp's exceptional cinematography. The sound is amazing, withe the 5.1 DTS audio bringing the MGM orchestra into your living room, and taking full advantage of the gorgeous underscoring that spans virtually every frame of the film when there isn't a full-blown musical number.

The Willson Broadway score was heavily stage-bound, and the producers wisely eliminated many of the songs saving only the best for the film including "I Ain't Down Yet", "Belly Up to the Bar, Boys", and "I'll Never Say No" as stand-outs. Willson also wrote a number specifically for the film "He's My Friend" that is a standout to showcase the talents of all involved. The beauty of this Blu-ray presentation only highlights the bountiful entertainment to be had watching this film.

Great entertainment, suitable for all ages, this Blu-ray is highly recommended!

2.0 out of 5 stars Poorly designed...may work for some, but didn't work for us., June 25, 2016

The intention of this product is a good one, but it didn't work for us. The design seems inherently flawed. It doesn't stay on dog's paw, and seems flimsy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Barbara Cook & Michael Feinstein make musical magic on this wonderful album., June 19, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
What can one say about the genius of Barbara Cook that hasn't already been said. Here, in a concert recorded just a few years ago, she joins forces musically with the wonderful Michael Feinstein, and the results are magical. Treasures from the classic American songbook are interwoven with a few surprising choices, and you really feel like you are a member of the audience at the New York nightclub where this was recorded. Paraphrasing another famous song, it's "Merely Marvelous".

5.0 out of 5 stars John Ford's masterful classic epic is given new life on this superb Blu-ray release!, June 19, 2016
Likely a candidate for best Blu-ray release of the year, this timeless John Ford/John Wayne classic looks so great....so crystal clear, you'd almost think it was 3-D. I have seen this film countless times, yes this new presentation brings you into the story in a way I've never experienced before.
From the beauty of the vistas of Monument Valley to the moving expressions of John Wayne's emotions in close-up, the film's Oscar-winning photography has been treated with appropriate reverence. The net result is a magnificent classic (I understand this was John Wayne's #1 favorite out of all his films), given a first-class sharp and colorful presentation.
