5.0 out of 5 stars I was in good shape to begin with but wanted some extra motivation, January 13, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I got my Fitbit late Nov. 2015. I was in good shape to begin with but wanted some extra motivation. I have since lost 3 pounds and got my resting heartbeat down from 72 to 60. I don't exercise a great deal but I have been using the app on my Android phone to keep track of everything I eat. I find this helps me to avoid late night snacks and eating between meals. I suffer from high blood pressure and I take a reading daily. I am mainly writing this in response to the questions about the Fitbit's accuracy. My blood pressure machine registers my pulse, and it matches up with the readings I get on the Fitbit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Got the camera set up in about an hour. ..., November 16, 2015

Got the camera set up in about an hour. I'm using it along with an app on my Android phone. I have it set up to notify me via the app whenever motion is detected. It works very well so far. I also have a SD card to record video. It is a 32 Gb card and is inserted into the camera. Whenever motion is detected a 1 minute video is recorded. I had a little trouble getting the camera to recognize the SD card, but I think that was the fault of Google Chrome. When I opened the camera setup software in Firefox I was able to format the card without any problems.

5.0 out of 5 stars but nothing worked until Best Enzyme., October 1, 2015

I had a cat for many years, but had to put her to sleep 2 years ago. After having my carpets cleaned a strong urine smell came back from the time when she was old and lost control. I had tried several approaches, including bounce fabric sheets and a deodorizer from the carpet cleaning service, but nothing worked until Best Enzyme.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reading Reinvented, February 11, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My home is full of electronic devices, some good, some not so good. I found that I read a lot on my computer, but I haven't had the desire to read a "book" in a very long time. I thought the Kindle would offer the best of both worlds - computer-like reading of books and a vast library of book titles. The Kindle is fabulous. I've already read a couple of books in a short time, and I am amazed by how elegantly it works. Ordering publications is painless, the Kindle keeps track of where you left off, and if you want to read a book on multiple devices - your Kindle, computer or phone, the software automatically syncs everything so you never have to worry about bookmarks. It just works - flawlessly.

5.0 out of 5 stars You Never Know, February 11, 2012

I never thought that anything like 9/11 could happen, but now I'm not taking any chances. The book lays out several different scenarios, any one of which can drastically change how we live. I live in New York City, and even though the authorities here are great and are constantly improving security and disaster preparations, they can't do everything. The book guides you through every step you should take to survive a disaster in amazing detail.

1.0 out of 5 stars Remember this - Save Your Money, February 11, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Fully half of this book is devoted to helping you stop smoking. The other half of the book contains a few good ideas to help your memory improve, but the same topics and suggestions are repeated over and over. I guess the author thinks if you bought the book you are incapable of remembering anything, so every suggestion needs repetition at least three or four times.
