Cosco - Flat Fold High Chair, Quigley
Cosco - Flat Fold High Chair, Quigley

5.0 out of 5 stars Great folding high chair!, April 21, 2014
I love this chair! It's wonderfully lightweight and portable. I can fold this up and carry it with one hand over to the neighbors' house for dinner or pack it away in the trunk for vacation. It would make the perfect chair for a grandma or anyone with an occasional baby dinner guest. Here's the best part... the whole tray goes straight in the dishwasher and comes out good as new. The fabric cover is not removable but it's slick and wipes down very nicely. You can't beat it for an inexpensive portable high chair.

3.0 out of 5 stars Greasy coating, son not interested, November 30, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My son got this on his third birthday several months ago and has played with it probably a total of 5 minutes. It may just be his particular taste but he did not find this toy at all fun or interesting. It seemed to be decent quality and an appropriate size for his age. The only complaint I have other than that he didn't like it was it had a greasy Vaseline-like film on it when it arrived (although it cleaned off fairly easily).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great toy to grow with, November 30, 2013
My son who is now 3 has had this toy since he was a baby. In the beginning he enjoyed exploring the many textures like the crinkle wings on the fly, rough corduroy on the spider, and smooth plastic on the "bug jar". After a while he began to discover that each bug makes a sound with actions of varying difficulty. Rattling, squeaking and crunching the bugs is still fun for him as he engages in pretend play with his buggy friends. You can't actually dump the bugs but it's a great skill builder for young children to learn to reach in and grasp the toys to remove them. If you truly want them to be able to fill and "spill" go for either the m&d ball set or tool set. Overall this is a great fun learning toy for baby, no batteries or electronic beeps.

Arthur's Gerbil (Red Fox chunky flap book)
Arthur's Gerbil (Red Fox chunky flap book)
by Marc Brown
Edition: Paperback
8 used & new from $45.73

2.0 out of 5 stars Great lift-a-flap, February 12, 2013
Arthur has lost his gerbil! He knows just where to look! The reader lifts the bed skirt, opens mom's briefcase, and even checks inside the cereal box in search of the missing gerbil. Young children will delight in the silly suprises found along the way and finally discover the gerbil where Arthur least expected it to be. The pages are quite sturdy and the flaps have held up nicely with my 2 year old boy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining, yes. Great parenting model, no., August 31, 2012
I am rating the show 4 stars based on its Entertainment Value (5!) and Educational Value (3). I feel like other reviewers are rating the family's lifestyle, rather than the show. There is never a dull moment in this show featuring sassy "redneck beauty queen" Alana and her family. The family is just about as un-refined as they come, and they make some very questionable lifestyle choices (like cheese balls for breakfast, and mom yelling "booty call" when the phone rings). You never know what they'll say next, but rest assured it will be delivered with a distinct country twang and a redneck sense of humor. I rate the show 5 for entertainment because its crazy, unpredictable, and unlike anything I've ever seen on tv. I rate it 3 on education because it shows a little known southern sub-culture to the masses. This is how poor rural southerns live! Other than the beauty queen twist, this is very real and very typical. I know, because I grew up about 20 minutes away from McIntyre, Ga, home on honey boo-boo.

Bottom Line, if you are looking for a role model, keep looking. If you are looking for an entertaining peek into a wild and different culture, feast your eyes!

Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Diapers, Stage 4 (22-37 Lbs.), 30 Count (Pack of 4)
Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Diapers, Stage 4 (22-37 Lbs.), 30 Count (Pack of 4)

2.0 out of 5 stars Good idea, poor performance, January 18, 2012
I am writing this review as a mom who has tried every kind of diaper, from bum-genius cloth to pampers with drymax. I fell in love the moment i opened the 7th generation package. The diapers were soft, naturally colored, and had absolutely no scent. I put one on my baby, and I must say I was impressed with the fit. They seemed to be snug without binding, and the passed the first pee test with flying colors. It went downhill from there. The first time he pooped, the diaper failed and leaked everywhere! This happened 4 (yes, 4!!!!) more times before we used up the pack (about 30 diapers). I will never buy these diapers again. I refuse to buy diapers that consistently leak (especially poop, ewww!) no matter how much I like the company's philosophy. I'll stick with the Huggies pure & natural, which seem to be the most eco-friendly diapers that actually work. I'm shocked that there are people who gave a 4 star review on this product, admitting that it leaks poop!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great thin wipes., February 1, 2011
These wipes are ideal if you are looking for a soft flexible wipe thats gentle on baby's skin. They are on the thin side (almost mesh-like) but very strong, and are perfect for newborns. Thick wipes like Huggies are probably better for older "messier" babies, but they are much stiffer than these and harder to gently get the tiny little nooks and crannies clean for new babies. The "retail" price listed here is total bogus. These exact wipes are available at The Dollar Tree for one dollar. I was hesitant to even try an "off-brand" on baby's sensitive skin, but as it turns out they are perfect and seem to actually eliminate any occasional redness after a day's use. This pack of wipes is worth two dollars or more, but I'll stick to Dollar Tree as long as they're available there.

Sassy Hello Baby Phone Developmental Toy
Sassy Hello Baby Phone Developmental Toy

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for Newborns and Older Babies!, December 17, 2010
This was the first toy to really get my baby's attention. He would look at it consistently each time we presented it. He focused on the black and white bullseye and seemed to like the sound when he was just a couple of weeks old. Its not the easiest toy to grasp (little bulkier than a couple of others), but now that he's 2 months he hangs onto it with no problem. My BF has a 18 month old who likes to play "telephone" with it when they visit. There aren't many toys out there that are fun for a 2mo and an 18mo, so this automatically merits 5 stars in my book!

4.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, Absorbent, Not Quite Perfect, December 16, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These coasters are beautifully printed, and nicely made with cork backing. They are absorbent, but they don't quite soak up all the condensation if you have a drink with ice in a warm room. Also, they will scratch wood furniture if you are not careful when moving them around since the cork backing doesn't extend all the way to the edge (the edges of the stone are a little rough). I would love to see a re-design with the cork wrapping around the edge and making a tiny lip for extra protection. Also, for those of you who are wondering, all four coasters in the package are the same design.
