This little box solved the problem of 'not enough HDMI ports' on my Panasonic DLP TV. We now have three HDMI components (cable box, Xbox 360, and a BluRay player), and the TV only has two compatible ports. So we plugged the Xbox and BluRay player into this switch, and voila! It comes with a remote so you can manually switch sources, but the unit is smart enough to switch from one component to the other depending on what's turned on.

Careful, the remote control is tiny, so could be easy to lose.

[CAUTION! Amazon combines reviews for ALL the different designs of this product, so make sure you're reading a review for the version you want.]

This is a review for the orange Xtreme Pro case for iPhone 5c.

I admit that for me, the main selling point for this case was the color. This is the only substantial case I could find in bright orange for my 13-year-old son's new iPhone 5c. That said, it really is a pretty solid performer. It's a two-piece case, with a black silicone cover that wraps around the phone on all sides except the screen, plus a hard plastic orange shell that wraps around the silicone and 'grips' it to the phone.

Only had it a month, but so far it's held up well. My son loves it, but I docked one star because the edge of the case doesn't provide a very deep 'lip' around the front face. I suppose it would still prevent damage if the phone were dropped facedown, but I'd feel a bit better if the case protruded a bit more from the front of the phone. We added a screen protector to the phone, just to be safe.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Hybrid case is exactly what I wanted, January 31, 2014

Glad to see that Amazon no longer lumps reviews for the different designs all together, but be careful when you're researching that the reviews apply to the version you want.

The Hybrid case is really two cases in one - a silicone wrap that surrounds the Nano, and a hard outer shell that the silicone-wrapped Nano slips into. The holster clip is part of the outer shell. The entire package adds quite a bit of size and heft to the feather-light nano, which is a good thing for me, as it makes the Nano feel more substantial AND protected from drops.

Joyland (Hard Case Crime)

5.0 out of 5 stars A quick but enjoyable read, January 31, 2014

This is much shorter than most of King's other novels (this is a novella by his standards), but I found the story engrossing and the characters well developed enough for the purpose of the story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works fine on an 'old' style DLP, February 21, 2013
(Purchased at a local B&M store for easier/quicker return in case it didn't fit my TV, so it's not an Amazon-verified purchase)

So maybe you're one of the few who don't have a flat panel TV (like me), but you'd still like to put your Kinect sensor up on top rather than down in front of the set where the sensor's field of view isn't as wide. Our primary TV is a Panasonic 56" DLP, with a sloped rear panel, so this mounting clip doesn't 'grip' the set as securely as it probably does an LCD or LED TV. It would be more accurate to say the clip 'rests' on the top of my DLP. That said, it feels fairly secure and positions the Kinect sensor perfectly. The clip does open wider than the 90-degree angle shown in the photo, so I opened it to probably 135-degrees to fit on my set.

2.0 out of 5 stars Lasted four years... sort of, February 17, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Yeah, that might sound like a long time, but for a kitchen faucet, it really isn't. Bought this to replace the one that our builder installed (that one lasted eight years before developing a leak). This new one was fine for about two years, then it started to leak, so we called Moen customer service about their lifetime warranty. They were perfectly nice, shipped us a new 'snake' hose to replace the leaky one free of charge, and all was well... until the handle on this one stopped working properly, so shutting the water off involves finding just the right handle position. Argh.

Guess all those other reviews were right; Moen doesn't mind replacing these under their lifetime warranty because they're made so cheaply in the first place. Maybe we'll try a Kohler next time...

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good sound for iPod Touch, February 17, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My son uses this with his iPod Touch 4G, so he's not picky about the fidelity of the sound - but I was pleasantly surprised by the big full sound this small speaker puts out! Now it's only one speaker, so it's monaural, of course, and it's not going to fill a room with music - but it fits the bill of being inexpensive, portable, and "cool" (the most important feature to a tweenage boy, naturally).

Plugs directly into the earbud port on his iPod Touch, idiot-proof.

War Room: The Legacy of Bill Belichick and the Art of Building the Perfect Team
War Room: The Legacy of Bill Belichick and the Art of Building the Perfect Team
by Michael Holley
Edition: Hardcover
68 used & new from $0.01

2.0 out of 5 stars Not up to the caliber of Holley's previous books, February 17, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I realliy wanted to like this book, honestly. I had enjoyed Michael Holley's previous books "Patriot Reign" and "Red Sox Rule", and thought an inside look at the Patriots' draft process would be fascinating stuff. Unfortunately, that's only a very small piece of this story, and the rest is a tiring slog through the building/rebuilding process of OTHER teams (under the direction of former Patriot staff).

Although I'd lost interest by the midway point, I read the rest of this book in hopes that it would become more interesting as the big reveal of Draft Day approached, but found myself just wishing it were shorter so I could move on to something better.

Sorry, Michael....

Fenway 1912: The Birth of a Ballpark, a Championship Season, and Fenway's Remarkable First Year
by Glenn Stout
Edition: Hardcover
81 used & new from $0.01

4.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating account of Fenway's first season, February 17, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I'm a big fan of baseball books chronicling the early 20th century, AND a huge Red Sox fan, so this book was right up my alley. Not just a history of the ballpark (a task at which the author succeeds impressively), but an engrossing tale of that first season and how the team's strong performance actually dictated the way the park would be expanded into dimensions that are roughly equivalent to today's layout.

One minor nit which is probably due to the manner in which books are printed, but it would have been nice if the photos grouped in two sections of the book had been spread out so they appeared in closer proximity to the sections of text to which they were relevant. And why did the publisher choose a back cover photo that shows the Red Sox crossing the field at the Polo Grounds, rather than another photo of Fenway?

4.0 out of 5 stars Durable, heavy, with interchangeable caps, February 17, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We have two tween-age sons who carry small water bottles for lunch, and larger water bottles for recess/sports. We already had reusable large plastic botles, but we were tired of buying endless 11oz bottles for their lunches. So when their old reusable plastic bottles needed replacing, we looked for a BPA plastic-free alternative, and my wife found these. We bought each boy a 25oz bottle and a 9.5oz for their lunches (perfect size for soft sided lunch bags). After six months of daily use, we've had zero leaks, and no complaints from the boys. Pros/Cons:

Pros: Durable; no leaks; keeps water cold all day; all the caps/inserts/covers are the same size, so interchangeable no matter the size of the bottle!
Cons: HEAVY when full (especially the 25oz); because they're metal, they dent when dropped; surface paint flakes off - this is more pronounced with the Electric Blue than the Black, for some reason.

All in all, I'd buy these again, recommended.
