1.0 out of 5 stars Do not recommend, November 30, 2014
Lasted less than 1 year. Slowly failed over the last couple weeks and caused numerous system problems that made it look like mother board and disk problems.

System wouldn't overclock from the beginning. I thought I had either a CPU or memory issue. No, it was the, at the time, new power supply. How do I know? Replaced this when it died yesterday. Installed a 750W bronze supply from another company and the system now overclocks, boot time is faster, fewer glitches in 3D games.

Do yourself a favor and get something else.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tablet at a great price, May 24, 2014

Excellent tablet. Great screen, fast, nice response to touch. A bonus was the 2 screen protectors included. You get one installed by the factory and a spare.

The tablet size is excellent for business apps, and the quad core gives it excellent gaming and video playback capabilities.

If you want an Android tablet, this is the one to get.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not recommended unless . . ., August 25, 2013
You like gambling.

Bought the game because of the reviews saying the updates had fixed it. The game is now up to 2.1.1 and herein lies the problem. The original will work fine up to v1.8.

After that, you are taking your chances. A known bug with the 2.1 update is that it deactivates the game so you can't play and then tells you your CD key is already in use when you try to re-enter it.

Then I went to the forum for Heroes 6 to look for a fix. I was surprised to find that instead of it being full of tips, gameplay strategies, and discussions as users go through the game, it's >95% complaints and bug reports (probably close to 99% actually). Found out my problem is a KNOWN bug in the 2.1 update that ubisoft never bothered to fix, they still have a faulty patch they tell you to download and install.

Posted a help ticket to ubisoft. Now keep in mind this is a KNOWN and common issue. 3 days later and no response from ubisoft. Still can't play the game.

You will also find complaints about ubisoft not responding to trouble tickets on the forum. I guess once they have your money they figure why worry about customer support.
So before you spend your hard earned money on this game, check out the forum here:

Apparently, if it loads and works, you're ok, but if you have ANY issues, getting help from ubisoft is like pulling teeth.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beware the temperature rating, November 19, 2011
Got one of these this year. At temperatures in the teens to twenties it was a complete FAIL.

I'm a "hot" sleeper. The kind that is always kicking covers off at night so my metabolism stays up at night.

I understand the temp ratings are only applicable when you have the bag on a pad and wear a layer of insulating clothing (loose thermals and loose wool socks in my case. Slept in the bag laying on 1.5 inches of foam AND a bag pad.

Yet even with these conditions met, I about froze my keester off when the temp dropped into the high teens. The following night put a wool blanket inside the sleeping bag (if you cover a bag it compresses the insulation and reduces the bags ability to keep you warm, so you must insert something into the bag.) Still had room inside the bag, so I was not compromising the insulating qualities. That night it dropped into the low twenties. I was a bit warmer as I was only slightly chilled when I woke up, yet the temp was 15 degrees or more higher than the rating on the bag, and I was using the extra wool layer as insulation.

Saw later REI tells you almost all companies lie about the temperature rating on their bags, so now I know this was a problem. I'd rate this bag as a +30 degree bag. Will look into a -20 bag, or a -5 degree bag with a slip in fleece liner for the future.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money, November 3, 2008
First, think about the fact that there are tips on the web about how to "fix" this attachment. That should be your first clue.

Faults:
1. It's plastic, and not a rigid plastic either. You need rigidity to cut decent circles.

2. It slips. The plastic is very smooth allowing the guide to change diameters no matter how much you tighten the knob. Most "fixes" deal with this issue.

3. Poorly designed "peg". Rotozip videos tell you to Make a hole for the pivot peg. What the don't tell you is the size of the pivot peg is bigger than any of their standard bits! So you either have to try and round out the hole with the RZ to get the peg to fit (good luck), or you need to use a drill to make the hole the correct diameter.

Pro's:
None I can think of.

Basically, this attachment is a piece of junk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for students and instructors, January 18, 2007
I'd recommend this book for- people wondering if something is missing from their art, beginners, and teachers.

The information in highly useful to all 3. Of course, it goes without saying the first 2 groups will learn a great deal, so why recommend it for instructors? Easy. Even if you have a been taught a solid system, sometimes learning to discuss a topic in a different way will turn the light on for an individual that's struggling. I've borrowed some of the phraseology and terminology from the book and seen it give people a better understanding.

In addition, if you have students read this at the correct point in their training, it will save hours of explanation. This will give your students more time practicing what they're learning.

The vast majority of the information is not syle specific, but based on sound physiological principles that are useful regardless of your background. As such, nearly everyone will be able to glean something useful from this book.

Although Marc Mac Young has irritated many with his older writings, he set his opinions aside and worked with a traditional martial artist to write this book. Mr. Sutrisno is a wealth of information and and I understand was a major source of information for this book. Having met him and seen him move, I can attest that Mr. Sutrisno knows his stuff and can perform everything he talks about. So this book is not about untested theories, but sound principles that work. It's well worth the read.
