5.0 out of 5 stars Change, August 25, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Inuyashiki 1 (Paperback)
Without spoiling much Inuyashiki is the story of a man who is looked down upon by society as being a weak pathetic old man. He may look old but hes 58 and has relatively young kids, who unfortunately ignore him. He sees people around him that are rude and hurt others but doesn't have the strength to change the situation. To top it off hes been diagnosed with cancer. Things don't look that great for Inuyashiki until he awakes one morning to learn he can change everything.

Overall its a good read and the art is great. It was cool to get a main character who is an old man more or less who has lived long enough to have an opinion of the world and its people that he sticks by.

Heres a preview of the first chapter, honestly just read this, you'll be hooked http://www.newsarama.com/25640-inuyashiki-vol-1-preview.html If you liked gantz I recommend this.

4.0 out of 5 stars My First Beanie, August 10, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I liked this beanie a lot and will probably get more in this style but the picture is slightly deceiving. It looks like light is being casted on the product but the beanie is actually multi colored from dark grey to light grey. Overall a good comfortable product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Goodbye Flakey Friends Hello Selsun Blue, August 10, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
After using this for a month I can say without a doubt it works. I have always had dandruff and have gone through shampoos that rarely succeed at destroying my flakey friends but this did them in. I use about a quarter sized drop of Selsun blue and lather it in my hair making sure to keep my showers under 5mins. Doing this daily for the last month has taken care of my Dandruff problem all together.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Battle Begins, August 8, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: One Piece, Vol. 75 (Paperback)
This volume is jam pack with events taking place as the real fight for Dressrosa begins. So many fights begin in this chapter as the Don Quixote Pirates begin to retaliate to the uprising. Overall its a good volume but dont expect too much as the fights are just beginning and characters are popping up left and right offering luffy help in his quest to defeat Dolflamingo. Also this is a must read for usopp fans as one of his tall tales become reality.

5.0 out of 5 stars I <3 WT, July 21, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Prison School, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
Prison School is a one of a kind manga filled with raunchy scenes, comedy and beautiful art. I've been reading the series since it began and I've continued to love it because of these 3 things. The art style in the first couple volumes isnt fantastic but it significantly improves as the series goes along. Yen press also included the art of volume 2 on the backside of the volume. They also included colored pages in the beginning of the volume with the covers of volume 1 and 2 which I was very pleased with. The book is much larger than a normal volume in size allowing it easy to turn the pages and view all the details one each pages. Overall I'm very pleased with Yen Press's job on this book an would highly recommend this series to anyone that can handle the sheer amount of sexuality in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Deal, November 7, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Viz has done it again bringing us a collection of one of the worlds most beloved manga back into an affordable box set.

Inside the box we have the Skypiea and Water Seven arks which consists of volumes 24-46. Each volume has the ark it takes place in labeled on the side. The volumes all seem to be printed at different points as well. Inside the box is also a double sided strong world poster as well as a small book containing a chapter of Strong World.

The box itself is made out of cardboard, has a plastic handle on top for carrying and velcro to shut it closed. Its no different than the previous box set.

Overall the box set is fantastic its a great way to get those missing volumes you need for your one piece collection or give at as a gift either way this set will not leave you disappointed some of the best moments of the series are in these volumes.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Beginning of The Dressrosa Ark, June 7, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: One Piece, Vol. 71 (Paperback)
Even though this is just the first volume of the Dressrosa Ark Im already enjoying it a lot more than I did the previous ark. There are a lot of new characters introduced in this volume, new outfits for the strawhats and the continued alliance with Law as well as working with Kin’emon. This volume is mainly the set up for the Dressrosa Ark showing the conflicts and battles that await the stawhats through future volumes. Overall Im loving it and have big expectations for this Ark.

5.0 out of 5 stars Set Sail For One Piece!, December 27, 2013
One Piece is a fantastic manga about adventure, friendship and following your dreams no matter what.

This box set is perfect for anyone who is just getting interested in manga or has been following the One Piece anime and is looking to start reading the manga for the first time.

The set includes the first 2 Arks of the series containing a total of 23 volumes. The set also includes a bonus double-sided poster and a small booklet containing the One Piece One-shot. The box is overall nice featuring characters from the series on each side of the box. It has a plastic handle on top for carrying purposes if you need to move it for storage purposes. The box opens from the top held in place my velcro unfolding to feature the books inside. Overall it’s a nice sturdy box and the manga don’t move around at all inside the box so you don’t have to worry about something being damaged while the box is being moved. The books inside all seem to be printed in April of 2013. They also don’t include the gold lettering on the binding that the original printing did. They do however label what ark each volume was a part of in the series.

I received this as a gift from my parents for Christmas after showing it to them on Amazon. For the price it was a great deal and it was probably my favorite gift this holiday. If you’re interested in One Piece and haven’t purchased the manga I highly suggested this box set. Not only are you getting a great deal and a fantastic manga you’re helping convince Viz to come out with future One Piece box sets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easily One Of The Best Figures I Own, April 4, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Raiden is my first Play Arts Kai figure I have purchased and most likely wont be my last. The figure stands nearly 11 inches tall and has plenty of articulation so you can pose him whichever way you choose to. The paint job on the figure is excellent and depicts how he is supposed to look according to Yoji Shinkawa's artwork. The figure comes with an additional face featuring Raiden's visor, 2 additional feet, 2 additional hands, his blade, the blade sheath, a smaller blade and 3 kunai blades. It also comes with a standard Play Arts Kai stand which i particular flippin hate since its not tight enough but that probably my own fault. One issue I had with the figure which is a problem but can be easily dealt with is the greyish/silver wires that connect from his chest to pelvic/mid section. They comes off easily. Its not really a problem since you can just glue them or hide them after you have posed him into a position but it does seem to not want to stay. Overall its a great figure and I don't regret spending the money on him.

There are several other MGS figures if Raiden doesn't float your boat or you can go and look for one of the several different color variants of this figure like white or orange that's out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Woah!, April 2, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Honestly best 40$ I spent on a figure ever. For something that was originally made back in 2006ish this thing is extremely detailed and durable for the money I spent. I was a bit skeptical since I was searching sites for a Ryomou figure, the majority of them well over 120$ so when I saw a cheap figure I could only expect the worst to happen. When it arrived it was in a huge box and when I pulled her out I couldn't help but smile. Being a broke college student with barely any fun money this was literally one of my best figure purchases to date. Its highly detailed, no imperfections except for the a small indentation on the hair, comes with additional parts you can add to her such as cat ears, cat tail and a pair of handcuffs. Don't know if you can see it but shes got her tongue out licking her lip.

My only issue with her is the base. Why did they choose to stop making her near her ankles they could've easily given her some feet but meh otherwise this figure is perfect. If you can get the figure for around 50$ I say go for it before its too late.

P.S. There's a pink version of her too if your into that :)
