2.0 out of 5 stars Worst Season so Far, October 7, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My husband and I recently got addicted to this show and immensely enjoyed the first four seasons. Season 6 has gone off the rails entirely. The writing used to be so tight, now there are characters that just disappear without any acknowledgment (Robin, Taye Diggs character, etc). We were never given any good reason for why Alicia and Peter's growing relationship was destroyed so quickly. Alicia's character continues to become less and less likable and whatever real life issue she has with Kalinda has hurt the show immensely. The storylines this seasons have been far too contrived; Cary going to jail, Alicia running for District Attorney, all the back and forth with the two law offices moving, joining, separating, coming back together; seems like they are out of ideas. My husband gave up at the end of season 5 and now I am giving up, too.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hugely Disappointing -- Skip if You are a Fan of the Books, March 6, 2015

Season 1 of this show had some promising moments. There are some interesting characters, but unfortunately, they all die or are robbed of their deserved screen time. All you are left with is the monotonous, dull, repetitive conversations between Hannibal and Graham that make you wish you were watching paint dry. The acting is alright, but it would be so much better if there was good material there for the actors to work with. This show exemplifies everything that is wrong with television today, cyclical plots that never move anywhere, dialogue that is meaningless and overdone, characters that act in ways that are completely unbelievable and/or unrelatable (even Hannibal's back story found in the book "Hannibal" gives us cause to understand him). As a huge fan of the book series, this show makes me sad.

This review is from: Hannibal Season 2 (Amazon Video)
I've read and loved Thomas Harris' Hannibal books so I was really excited to watch this show. Well, I could not have been more disappointed. The dialogue is so boring and awful. I found myself doing other things while watching Season 2 on Prime, because it wasn't interesting enough. 90% of the conversation is completely superfluous as well, it's just unnecessary circle dialogues where they discuss the same things over and over again. Maybe watching one episode a week, you wouldn't notice how terrible it is, but watch a couple episodes back-to-back and it gets exceedingly irritating.

The show also asks you to suspend logic way too often. I don't believe that someone is capable of keeping numerous hostages in numerous places while brainwashing them while also visiting crime scenes, meeting with real patients and cooking the most elaborate dinners, stalking prey and staging ridiculous crime scenes. Ain't no one got time for that; really, there's just not enough hours in the day.

And stop using "I wanted to see what they would do" as people's motivations for doing stupid things. It just doesn't work and it's tiring.

2.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating, June 6, 2011
As others have mentioned in their reviews, the game freezes constantly, which is incredibly frustrating. I've really enjoyed all the other LEGO games, but this one just seems to have more bugs.
