I bought this for my wife to use on a trip to Europe because of the dual voltage feature. On opening the box, it's immediately obvious that this is a well-built flat iron. My wife has had dozens of flat irons over the years (we've been married 40 years) and some are pretty crappy. But this one is heavy and solid, the hinge is tight, the return spring feels about right, she says the heat is perfect, strong cord with good stress relief fitting, nice finish--I really have no crits. For use in Europe, she needed an adapter plug of course to plug it in but it worked perfectly with the 250V current.
Also, not really relevant, but the box it ships in might have been designed for some super expensive piece of equipment. I mean, it's a really nice box! It's not really needed unless you plan to store your iron in the box but, if you do, well then you have a nice box to store it in.
