Gives a few Revit tricks but that is about it. This book is NOT for someone who is familiar with the basics of windows. It uses paragraphs to walk you through how to open and save a file, then it repeats this information in every exercise ... really ? Kind of annoying; In the end, the real important information is omitted. I am sure there are other books out there that are more useful, then again for the price of this book, what do you expect? you get what you pay for.
I heard Autodesk likes to purposely omit some topics from their books so you will buy more books: This book is like a bible and the author barely touches on the subject of visibility parameters in families. I have to find somewhere else how to turn on and off a group inside a family. Really ? I am sure there are other books out there who will teach you Revit HONESTLY without trying to make more sale out of you...
