Even though I am not a real fan of the evolutionary approach to nutrition, this book was very helpful and convincing. They start from the evolutionary approach but go on to describe how the human body works and the nutrients needed for optimal health. Most health/diet books give a page of advice with one line of science to back it up. This book gives you a more like a whole page of science for each piece of advice. Plus it presents a varied and tasty way to eat! I am implementing some of the advice and hope to read it again soon.
