Previous power supply was a 2014 EVGA SuperNova 850G2. Fast forward to 2022 and it was easily chugging along with zero problems in it's 7 years of service. Installed new in a 4th gen i7 rig all the way up to a 10th gen i9 machine. Worked great. Still has warranty and it will be kept as a spare. I got the 850G6 to replace it for a 12th gen build. It's silent under load and provides ample power for 12700k and rtx 3070. It's smaller in size by 20 to 30 mm in length which gives me more room for cable management. Fired right up no issues. Hopefully I can get another 7 plus years!! If you're on the fence, just go for it. You wont get a better PS at this price point (on sale for 104.99) Even at full retail...it's a bargain.
EVGA has great customer service and an easy cross ship warranty program. Much easier to deal with vs Corsair, SeaSonic, etc.
