I received these sandals 3 weeks ago. Today, the strap that goes between the toes disconnected from the footbed. Sure, I can glue it back in but for nearly $100 I shouldn't have to. The Birkenstocks I've previously purchased have lasted me 2-4 years (almost daily wear in the spring/summer) without breaking. This is the first time I bought Birkenstocks from somewhere other than a shoe store and I won't make that mistake again.
