Let me start by saying that I LOVE birkenstocks and own several pairs in a few different styles. I was truly excited for these to extend my season. I put them on and I was in heaven!! I sure did have a surprise on my feet later that night when they were stained/dyed black. I scrubbed with a pumice block and still couldn't get it all off.(Pic is after scrubbing) A 3 year old told me my feet were dirty and I needed a bath, I was embarrassed in my pedicure, and my husband asked what "those feet" were doing on on our duvet!! 😳The shoes were so comfy I decided to keep them anyway against my better judgment. I figured it was because they were new and it would be done. Nope. I was wrong. Dye ruined my pedicure too when the fur touched light nail polish. I also have bald spots where there is now no fur. What is underneath the fur is very unpleasant to the foot. It's like a sticky pleather, my foot catches on it, and it makes an annoying noise. They of course showed their true colors 3 days AFTER the return policy. I'm not pleased with $140 shoes that last 33 days/4 wears. Not cool Birk. Save your money.
Dyed Feet & Bald Spots after 1 month #waste
