Inherited this dog door when I bought my house. Flap fit was not great- space visible around sides, and breeze constantly coming thru. It doesn't usually get below 30 in Seattle, but was still was making my basement too chilly for comfort. Door looked old and well worn, so decided to rehabilitate it (plus no easy way to fill huge hole in door). Got replacement flap and cleaned and oiled the magnetic bar at the bottom of the frame. **ZERO** improvement. Would not recommend this door for indoor/outdoor installation unless you live in a warm, dry climate. I give it two stars for being fairly durable, cats like it since it's big and flap is transparent so they can see thru it, and closure panel is sturdy and easy to secure. But beware if you like a warm house!
