Living in Florida, hurricanes and power outages are a thing I have to be ready for. So having lighting ready is always a good thing. The Energizer Weather Ready Folding Lantern is great to have on hand for those moments. It's very bright, able to light up a large space. It can be flipped upward so it shines in every direction. Great to put in the middle of a room to light up everything. It comes with 3 lighting modes: a very dim nightlight look, a medium brightness and a high brightness. I kind of wish the medium was a bit dimmer, as even the medium is very bright and doesn't seem like a middle-ground between the low and high. I also wish maybe that it was rechargeable instead of taking batteries. You can always get rechargeable batteries, but it would be nice to have the recharge ability built in. The weight of it is a bit heavy, since it takes four D batteries on top of its product weight. But overall, I rank this highly and would recommend it. It's a great lantern and can help a lot during those times when you need to light up an area.
