Ergonomics aren't my thing. Like, in the abstract sure—good idea to have proper posture and all that jazz—but in practice my desk space is wanting. As a result, I tend to sit higher in my chair with my desk raised a bit, and I found that my feet kept searching for somewhere to land that wasn't the floor.
So, having done a bit of research, I landed on this foot rest, and I have to admit that it's one of the best products I've bought from Amazon.
Let's be honest. It's not much more than a couple of hunks of foam. Even so, I'm more comfortable sitting at my desk for long periods of time. I haven't had much cause to wash it yet so I can't comment on that, but it's taken some abuse from my feet and from my kids (who love using it for a head pillow!) and it's held up splendidly. Even the hook-and-loop has stayed intact...and I'm pretty rough on this stuff.
Amazon tells me that I bought this thing months ago, and yet it's still as firm as the day it arrived. I'd say I'd buy another one again in a heartbeat but I honestly feel like this thing is gonna last!
