I bought this as a second press that I could keep at the office and was durable to take camping. At the time of writing this i have used it daily for three weeks. The build quality is really nice. Everything fits well and the finish is durable and elegant. Beverages are kept hot for hours due to the double wall. Little heat is delivered to the outside of the container due to the air gap. The molded rubberized base sits nice on the desk and dampens noise and heat conduction. The major selling point for me was the valve in the mesh filter that isolates the spent grounds from the brewed coffee. This prevents over-extraction and acrid taste so you can enjoy your coffee in the same container. I also like that you do not need to buy filters or other consumables. I have it a work so I wash it by hand. I usually rinse it out and pump it with soapy water. The lid and reusable filter unscrews from the insert, the valve assembly unscrews from the filter for cleaning. It also comes with a long spoon for stirring.
