I had 3 good jars but the 4th jar was rancid. Amazon graciously sent a replacement and it was also rancid. The two latest jars smell nothing like butter. Ghee should have a milky-sweet smell (like butter). The two recent jars have a sour corrugated cardboard smell and almost a bitter taste. Definitely don't want this in Bulletproof coffee. I've had better luck with the Ancient Organics brand which has consistently been fresh. Giving them 3 stars because the first jars were good.
