I've tried to set this unit up on my network and after at least 8 hours of trying cannot bring it up on my computer screen or any other computer screen. User manual useless. Simply cannot speak with a person in customer service.
I've had many Western Digital products. This is the first one that was not straightforward to set up and use. I know a networking consultant, who told me that he will try to help me get it working ($140/hr) but that he recommends the NAS devices of QNAP. $1079 wasted.
