This is a nice-looking boot that might be ok for use around the yard. But nothing more than that.
Lack of arch support or any footbed structure makes it unsuitable for any pavement, let alone hiking, or hard terrain. There is no inner sole here at all - just flat squishy rubber - so if you walk more than a 100 metres you will have foot pain. This squishy-rubber-only sole puts all your weight on your heels. You will end up with painful heels or you will strike the ground with the arch and balls of your feet. The sole of this boot is nothing like a normal rainboot, or a waterproof Chelsea boot from Kamik or Bogs.
Lack of traction means you will slip and fall on most tiled surfaces if your boots are wet. So using this boot to get from the car to the store in the rain is problematic as you may slip once inside if it is a tiled surface.
The slightest puddles, and I mean 1-2 cms of water only, splash up beyond the ankle and wet your socks and eventually the interior of the boot.
The boot runs small in width and throat - order a full size larger to make sure you can get it on but be prepared for clown-like shoes that are a bit too big in the front.
I bought these since they didn’t have Kamik Larslo in my size - I wish I could return these. Now I know why they are on sale!
