A tale of the early years of the Beatles, as they made their mark on rock music. Told from the viewpoint of an English friend of theirs, it "recalls" the intersections of their lives over the course of several years, including a plot to assassinate the Fab Four after they unwittingly insulted Imelda Marcos. An interesting take, well written, on their early career, as told by someone who knew them then (Greg Kihn is a musician of some note himself).
