Update after just over a year: We are disappointed they didn't finish out the rivets where the spout attaches better. It RUSTS. (see photos). Probably not a big health risk but still we will likely replace this kettle. 🙁
Original: After our Braun kettle starting shedding black plastic into our water(!!!!) we looked for one that was all steel. It was surprisingly difficult to find a kettle with a100% stainless interior, with no little plastic window, guide, or anything. This one is all steel all the time. The only cons I have for this kettle are that it requires 2 cups of water minimum each time you use it. We were worried it would be very slow to boil, but it's not. And it really should have some hatch marks embossed inside to mark the 2 cup line, etc. It would make it easier to use, but we just use the 2 cup Pyrex with it.
