This book has everything: looks, charm, amusing anecdotes, good tips. The slow-carb diet once helped me get from 18% to 10% BF in just a few months. Then, after a long time of too much work and no play, fueled by quite a lot of crappy food, I got back to 21% BF and have just started the SCD again. In just two weeks I am at 19%. The diet works, makes sense, and is not hard to comply.
I've followed many tips on this book and can testify they seem to work. This is a dense book which can sometimes be overwhelming, but it's definitely worth reading it a second time, let alone buying it and keeping it on your bookshelf (or reading device) forever. |
