Very disappointed in this collection of great Cole Porter songs by a singer just not up to the task. The singing, the piano work, the arrangements, the whole production is slipshod. Harry has a small and lazy-sounding voice. He seems barely interested in the songs, even sliding off key at times, failing to hit a note on the nose. "Begin the Beguine" is done as an instrumental, with Harry pounding the keys "chopsticks" style. There are no real liner notes, no names of musicians or dates when recordings were made. The album is released just in time for Harry's month-long holiday show on Broadway, with tickets selling in the $200 to $400 or more range. I can't imagine anyone paying serious money to listen to these songs -- get ready for Christmas medleys, people...and check for half-price tix day of show.
