I worked in the printing business earlier in my career so I was aware of the different parameters that affect inking quality on paper — porosity (will the paper absorb and diffuse some of the ink like a sponge?), brightness (will the paper reflect light and glare, or will it cause low contrast between the type and the background making it hard to read?) and thickness (too thick and it won't go through all printers, too thin and it won't feel right in your hand). But how can the average person know what to get? The embarrassment of riches that Amazon offers in paper could easily lead you to buy something that delivers unexpected and unwanted surprises. This is our standard printer paper in my workplace and my home office. It is the paper that you probably imagine in your mind that you want for day to day printing, and is even good enough to use for reports to clients, invoices, and more formal applications.
