Sorry, but this book just didn't do it for me. It was an amateurish attempt to create a story about a prudish Englishman who had an early encounter with the still forming Beatles. I understand it was not intended to be remotely true, but the story line was so ridiculous it was silly. Imagine John standing up to a couple of bullies in a bar, ready to fight it out. Really? I could go on and on but in the end, don't waste your time on this one.
