At the time when I purchased this in September there were fewer product details in this listing. I read all the questions and answers trying to find out what it was made of but no luck. So I took a chance and bought it - there are no ingredients listed on the box either. So I put it away unopened because I can't give my child a clay that contains wheat.
So NOW I come back and look at the product details and there is a photo of a box that says it is made primarily out of wheat. Mind you, that photo isn't of the actual product. So I still don't know. But I'm going to assume all the people who said it was "like model magic" or "made of resin" were wrong and the product is in fact a generic version of play-doh and is made from wheat, salt, and water like play-doh. I'll find some other kid to give it to who can play with wheat based doughs. But I'm extremely disappointed that the packaging doesn't list ingredients or potential allergens.
